Welcome to University of Michigan STEP Research Lab! STEP Lab is dedicated to realizing disability inclusion where individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to fully participate in every aspect of their life. Our research lab is housed in the Office of Rehabilitation Disability Studies in the School of Social Work Department at University of Michigan. We have talented lab members from diverse academic and clinical backgrounds.

Our lab is active in conducting research, disseminating the research findings to various refereed journal publications, attending local, national, and international professional organizations. STEP Lab have been running through peer learning where lab members solidify insights and knowledge by teaching each other. Regular research group meetings are organized every semester where every member takes turn in delivering seminars on the topics of their interest.
